We are a small automotive workshop in Port Macquarie.

We are seeking applications for an upcoming Automotive Technician (Mechanic) apprenticeship.

Applicants will be expected to have completed or about to complete year 12 schooling, with an interest in Physics or the Sciences a distinct advantage.

Alternatively, if considering a career change, another non associated completed qualification or demonstrated sustained experience would be advantageous indicating a commitment to learning through to completion.

Automotive systems have become very complex & are changing rapidly. The successful applicant will be expected to be both willing & capable of training to a high standard. Technical literacy is essential, being a bit of a 'nerd' is actually a pretty good thing!

In summary, just liking cars is not enough - understanding how & why things work is more important.

Applicants will need to be physically fit, mentally mature & willing to learn
