We’re currently looking for a motivated Yard Assistant to join our growing team in Port Macquarie.

The Role

This is a hands-on role based in our yard, helping ensure all machines, trucks and equipment are prepared to the highest standard before heading out on hire.

You’ll be working around excavators, scissor lifts, trucks and other civil equipment daily.

Your Responsibilities

• Washing and detailing machinery and vehicles
• Greasing and carrying out basic maintenance checks
• Assisting with loading/unloading equipment
• Yard organisation and cleanliness
• Checking fuel levels and machine presentation
• Assisting customers during pickups and returns
• Completing pre-start inspections and paperwork
• Supporting the operations team where required

What We’re Looking For

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• High attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
• Physically fit and capable of manual work
• Basic mechanical knowledge (Highly desired)
• Forklift Ticket (Highly desired)
• HR License (Highly desired)
• Current Driver Licence required
