An energy company is looking for individuals interested in becoming qualified Asset Inspector. Traineeships available at locations across NSW: Albury, Griffith, Kempsey, Leeton, Lismore or Casino, Moruya, Orange or Blayney, Parkes, Texas and Young and Berrigan.
Our Asset Inspectors are responsible for inspecting the poles and associated hardware on our electrical network. They ensure the integrity of the poles and hardware by identifying, categorising, and recording all defects – to ensure we continue to provide customers with safe and reliable power.
Asset Inspector Trainees undertake a one-year program, with a combination of structured training from our Technical Training Team, external training providers and on-the-job experience.
What you will learn:
You will have access to the latest training, ensuring your skills and knowledge are at the forefront of the industry. You will complete a Certificate II in Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) – Asset Inspection and Testing, which will include subjects in: Work, Health, and Safety; Inspect Poles; Hardware and Electrical Apparatus; and Perform Minor Maintenance on Electricity Network Assets and Treat Poles.
