Your role as an Apprentice Electrician
- Performing preparation work and installation of cable pathways and supports
- Installing electrical and communications cabling as required (both internal & external)
- Identify and terminate electrical and communications cabling (e.g. colour coding)
- Assist in testing of installed cabling systems and associated equipment
- Interpret and maintain up-to-date documentation
- Maintain good communication with teammates and other personnel at all times
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Australian Standards and site requirements
- Assistance with various project and service groups as required, including purchasing and equipment checks
- Participate in on and off-the-job training to advance your skills and responsibilities.
- Comply at all times with company policies and procedures
What you bring to the table
- Commitment to completing a 4-year apprenticeship in Certificate III Electrotechnology.
- Current Drivers Licence with reliable transport
- Construction General Induction (White Card)
- Completion of Year 10 or higher education
- Motivated, shows initiative and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual and enthusiastic attendance
- Diligence to safe work requirements
- Follow directions and perform tasks with excellent attention to detail
- Contributes to achieving desired outcomes and a positive work culture
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
